Darleen joined Macrae as a Knowledge Manager in 2020 to support the firm’s recruiting efforts in New York. She provides direct administrative and research assistance to recruiters and, as a member of the firm’s global knowledge management taskforce, conducts research and analyses to ensure recruiters in New York and firmwide are armed with the latest information about local and global market dynamics and developments.

Prior to joining Macrae, Darleen served for two years as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at MacAndrews & Forbes, an American diversified holding company. Her previous experience includes several years as a Practice Support Coordinator at Kirkland & Ellis.

Darleen holds a BA in Anthropology from Fordham University. At Fordham, she ran Track and Field, where she was a standout in the 400-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles – skills she’s found translate well in her day-to-day work in the fast-paced world of elite partner recruiting.
