Sydney joined Macrae in 2023 as an Associate Knowledge Manager. She provides organizational and research support to recruiters in the firm’s New York office. She also helps maintain the firm’s real-time collective intelligence platform and collaborates with other Knowledge Management team members on cross-office projects.

Prior to joining Macrae, Sydney served as a tour consultant in Boston for leading global educational travel company Education First, where she focused on driving new business and data management. She also enjoyed being a member of the company’s Inclusive Leadership Cohort, a component of its Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiative through which she took part in trainings about inclusive leadership and DEIB initiatives at the local level.  

Sydney graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Gender and Women’s Studies. An avid traveler, she studied abroad in Ecuador and Denmark during college and has visited nearly every U.S. state and more than 20 countries. In her spare time, she also enjoys reading, cooking and exploring the West Village with her dog Scout.
