Karina H. Holmes is a seasoned executive with over 18 years of experience in operations, human resources, and organizational leadership. As a Partner and Chief Administrative Officer at Macrae, Inc., Karina plays a pivotal role in designing and executing strategies to support the firm’s growth and operational excellence. She oversees core departments, including HR, IT, accounting & payroll, real estate, and operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and scalable processes that align with Macrae's mission.
Since joining Macrae in 2017, Karina has been instrumental in transforming the organization into a leading legal recruiting company. Her leadership spans the development of capital and operating budgets, the establishment of training and onboarding programs, and the implementation of policies that foster a dynamic and adaptive work environment. Prior to her current role, she served as the Global Head of Operations & HR, where she streamlined hiring processes, enhanced employee experiences, and drove operational efficiencies across multiple offices.
Karina’s career journey includes senior roles at NextLabs, Inc., Major, Lindsey & Africa, Goodwill of Silicon Valley, and Provident Funding Associates, LP. Her diverse experiences encompass talent acquisition, facilities management, budgeting, vendor relations, and employee engagement, showcasing her versatility and commitment to organizational success.
Karina holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a specialization in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She is currently an Executive MBA candidate at Santa Clara University and expects to graduate in June 2027. Based in Palo Alto, California, she is passionate about mentoring emerging professionals, building innovative systems, and fostering collaborative environments that inspire growth.
